In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Bulgaria showed interesting trends on the Android platform. According to Sensor Tower, the following apps demonstrated significant activity:

• Bolt: Request a Ride saw a notable peak in weekly downloads, reaching around 2.2K by the end of May. Active users rose from approximately 6.1K at the beginning of the quarter to over 10K in early June, before stabilizing around 8K.

• Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady stream of downloads, starting at 800 and decreasing to about 500 by the end of June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 9K throughout the quarter.

• Baly | Order Taxi and Food increased its downloads significantly, peaking at over 900 in early June. Its active user base also grew, from approximately 600 to over 2.1K by the quarter's end.

• TUDA — order a ride showed fluctuating download numbers, with a significant spike to 1.7K in mid-May, before dropping to around 200 by late June. Active users varied but remained in the range of 5.7K to 8.3K.

• inDrive. Rides with fair fares maintained a low but steady rate of weekly downloads, hovering around 100 to 200 throughout the quarter. Active users increased slightly from 583 to 713 by the end of June.
